LOCATION: Route 715, Tannersville, Pa.

The field, located on Route 715 across from The Crossings outlets and behind the site of the former Tannersville Learning Center, had rarely been used for competitive baseball or softball in recent years, due to poor drainage and frequent flooding. The renovation project’s goal was to resolve these problems through re-grading, and to upgrade some of the structures.

ESSA Bank & Trust Foundation awarded a $36,000 grant to the project. In addition to Kobalt Construction and Pocono Township, other supporters include Eastern Industries, Eastern Penn Supply Co. (EPSCO), Carlton's Fence Services, Mountain Road Feed Store, and Gerber Trucking.
